Uniting Christians in Support of Israel

The Christian Agency for Israel (CAFI) seeks to be the world’s leading promoter in facilitation of Christian fundraising for the People and Land of Israel.

Aliyah

Supporting the return of Jews to their homeland
What is Aliyah?

“Aliyah” is the Hebrew word meaning “to ascend.” The word commonly refers to Jews who immigrate or return to Israel.

However, in order to truly understand Aliyah, it is important to also understand a brief history of Israel. When we look at history, in light of the prophetic scriptures we can see God's hand at work in this day and hour. We are living in a unique time when God is fulfilling His Word to Israel in the sight of the whole earth. The Lord is bringing the Jewish people back to Israel. More than one million Jews have immigrated to Israel in the past fifteen years. It's time for the Body of Christ to wake up and realize that this is no coincidence.

“Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.“ ‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land...Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors..." (Ezekiel 36:22-24, 28)

Scripture is Being Fulfilled Today

In light of this history, now consider that God said He would one day call the Gentile believers to carry the descendants of Abraham back to their promised homeland!

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I will give a signal to the godless nations. They will carry your little sons back to you in their arms; they will bring your daughters on their shoulders."(Isaiah 49:22)"They were glad to do this because they feel they owe a real debt to them. Since the Gentiles received the spiritual blessings of the Good News from the believers in Jerusalem, they feel the least they can do in return is to help them financially." (Romans 15:27)"...for salvation is from the Jews." (John 4:22)

Gentile's Role

The greatest prophetic sign of the last days is, without question, the return of the Jews to the land of Israel! There hasn't been a single time period since the days of Jesus that has seen more biblical prophecies come to pass as the one we are living in right now. For instance, in 1948, according to God’s promises, Israel became a nation. Isaiah spoke of Israel being born in one day (Isaiah 66:7-8), would it surprise you that Israel was, indeed, re-born in one day? In 1967, Jerusalem was restored to the Jews, indicating that these are the days of favor and restoration for the Jewish people, spoken of by the prophets. "...I will bring my people Israel back from exile.“They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the LORD your God." (Amos 9:14-15)

Education

Biblical Education from the heart of God
Education and Discipleship in the Holy Land

CAFI is committed to building bridges between Christians in the nations and Israel for the advancement of the Kingdom of God through biblical teachings. Our goal is to strengthen and enrich the believer’s faith through acknowledging God’s love for Israel. Taught from the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the Bible comes alive surrounded by prophecies fulfilled in the actual location of the biblical events - this is life changing. We purpose to educate Christians on how their faith is connected with Israel’s destiny, not just in the past but into the future.

Equipping Christian Leaders

We invite Christian leaders from the nations who are committed to spend time in Israel, to be equipped and empowered with a Gospel that’s connected to God’s covenant promises to Israel. By experiencing biblical, prophetic teachings in Israel, they return to their own nations, equipped to disciple people with new revelation. CAFI’s passion is to equip leaders to align with God’s heart by participating in what He is doing through Israel.

Uncover Biblical Roots

CAFI is on a mission to draw the international body of Christ back to the solid biblical roots of the faith - to equip believers with a deeper revelation of God’s plans and purposes for Israel, the Jewish people and the nations. God promises: “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (GEN 12:3). It is time for churches to teach God’s heart for Israel and to recognize their indebtedness to the Jewish people throughout history for safeguarding the prophecies, scriptures and the Messiah. We have a unique opportunity to be part of His plan in Israel’s return and restoration.

Absorption

Supporting the settling of Jews in their homeland
What is Absorption?

Absorption is an important part of a Jewish person’s Aliyah or return to Israel. Absorption can often be referred to as one’s restoration, redemption or assimilation into Israel society. CAFI’s prayer and goal is that every Jewish person making Aliyah will indeed be blessed and comforted as they enter the process of absorption into the land, language, and culture of Israel.

Although God’s promise to bring restoration to the Jews in Israel is now a present reality there are many challenges they face through the process. Imagine you are Jewish and you and your family are drawn to leave the comforts of life in America or another nation, to pull up stakes and move to Israel. You look at the challenges of learning Hebrew, finding housing and employment, adapting to a new culture, and establishing your children in school. But Aliyah is such a deep desire in your heart that you are willing to take a bold step to apply for Israeli citizenship – and now you have been accepted!

Building Lives

Getting off the plane in the Israeli airport is just the first step. Building your life as a new immigrant in Israel, however, can be really difficult, and many immigrants leave Israel as a result of hardships, depression, and loneliness. According to the Israeli Department of Statistics ONE out of every THREE new immigrants live in poverty TODAY.

Help in Restoration

Aliyah, immigration to Israel, is just the beginning of the bigger picture. This obedience to God’s call to come home opens the way for His many promises to bless His people in the process. They are, in effect, fulfilling the prophetic promises of their God who is ever-faithful to remember His covenant to Return and Restore them to their inheritance in Israel, His Promised Land.

Humanitarian Aid

Assisting the needy
Offering Support and Relief to Those in Need

More than 20% of Israeli’s live below the poverty line. The Corona Virus has taken a big economic toll and has only increased this distressing state of poverty in Israel. Paul the apostle’s mission was to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, yet he also had a deep burden for the needy in Israel. He went as far as to say that “…If the Gentiles have come to share in their (Jews) spiritual blessing, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings'' (Romans 15:27).

Along with helping the Jews return and settle back in their home CAFI, like Paul, has a burden to meet the needs of the poor in Israel. You will be helping to support needy holocaust survivors, struggling new (Olim) immigrants and many other impoverished young and old Jews in Israel. CAFI also supports Jews and Gentiles who have a heart to work together to provide global Humanitarian Aid, specifically in Africa. Join CAFI today in supporting the many needy in Israel and other nations.

The Eckstien Fund

The name Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein is remembered fondly. He was a man that dedicated his life to building bridges between the Jews and Christians. As well, he had a big impact on the Jewish community and Israel. Rabbi Eckstein’s untimely passing was not only a deep loss to those he served but especially tragic to his wife Joelle and family. For 15 years they worked side by side building an organization that raises funds to help those most needy in Israel. The Eckstein Fund was created in his honor to continue this mission.

Support the Mission

The Eckstein Fund provides first aid for emergency social needs for the desperate in Israel. Their hotline, Israel’s first ever, provides help when those most in need have nowhere else to turn. Common events, like losing a job, a medical emergency or being evicted put them in a vulnerable place. The Eckstein Fund was founded to change this. With over 120 calls a day, mostly from the elderly and new immigrants, the Eckstein Fund offers hands-on individualized assistance for the needy in their community. Join them on this important mission.
